Backout from candidates before joining "a serious problem"

Trusted “JobSite” Candidate

All of you know that attrition of candidates especially in IT sector is a major issue, companies are facing today. Lot of consultants & companies are offering lucrative salary and instant jumps in position, so the candidate has a variety of options to choose from.

As this is a good thing for candidate but also a headache for corporates as candidates keeps back off from offers they take and suddenly before joining or within one month they disappeared. Again the reason is salary jump or higher position offered by some other Organisation within joining time.

Infect the second Organisation doesn’t has an idea that the candidate is taken offer from someone and deceit them.

Because of lots of jobs flooding in the market and I believe average 5-10 consultancies working on a one job.


I have one solution in my mind which I want to share with you that if “JobSite”/ Monster can take initiative in this regard and launch/ introduce a new service/ feature for both the candidate as well as corporates. So there is some synchronization can be done to cop up with this problem.

This service will be called whatever you would like. Here I use “Trusted Candidate”


This is a feature which you ppl will introduce for all candidates in your database and new joiners.

1. “Trusted Candidate” get more attention from Organisation
2. “Trusted Candidate” comes in top in search results
3. “Trusted Candidate” shown below your name
4. “Trusted Candidate” shows that he is not behind frequent jumps and he actually stick to offer he get and accepted and see his career with the Organisation, the offer he taken from.
5. “Trusted Candidate” doesn’t get unwanted job offers after taking offer letter or new joining till minimum one month or the time duration he set.
6. It help “Trusted Candidate” to concentrate on work with new Organisation instead of getting confused, distraction with other offer, usually consultant offer them.


This feature can be used totally depending on candidate’s choice and decision. And he or she can always disable this feature from his account anytime. But not in a notice period.



What “JobSite” can get from this?


“JobSite” can sell this feature to corporate & Recruiters as a separate service.
“JobSite” actually get database of candidates joined in a month /year and can use this stats in various ways.
“JobSite” can initiate this first time and become more then a jobsite which only offer candidate/ service and get aside.

This can be a separate service so the regular database doesn’t get affected. This is totally depending on candidate and corporates choice.


How it will work:

Scenario 1

Candidate already has the “Trusted Candidate” service

1. Organisation ask consultancy to send across the offer to the candidate on ““JobSite”” before issuing hard offer, after confirmation from candidate.

2. Candidate accepts the offer in ““JobSite”” and chooses his status from “Inactive” or “Got Offer in Hand” and choose the time span between “one month” to whatever mutually decided. But it should be not less then one month.

3. An automated mail sent to Organisation or specified email id by corporate confirming that candidate accepted this offer.

4. Organisation offers the candidate in hard copy.


Scenario 2

Candidate does not has the “Trusted Candidate” service

5. Organisation informs candidate that the candidate has to accept the offer in ““JobSite”” too before taking official Offer from them.


6. Candidate accept that and add the “Trusted Candidate” feature in his “JobSite” Account
7. Organisation ask consultancy to send across the offer to the candidate on ““JobSite”” before issuing hard offer, after confirmation from candidate.


8. Candidate accepts the offer in ““JobSite”” and chooses his status from “Inactive” or “Got Offer in Hand” and choose the time span between “one month” to whatever mutually decided. But it should be not less then one month.

9. An automated mail sent to Organisation or specified email id by corporate confirming that candidate accepted this offer.

10. Organisation offers the candidate in hard copy.
